Electron Microscope Facility
Services provided: tissue processing for morphology and/or
immunolabeling. Technical support is available to perform the entire project — embedding,
sectioning, immunoprocessing, scoping and darkroom services. This facility
is located in Room 4903 of the South Building.

Confocal Microscope Facility
Services provided: Zeiss LSM-510 META confocal
microscope (Room 6615 of the Cancer Research Building), Bio-Rad MRC 1024 confocal microscope
(Room 6613, Cancer Research Building), Stallion Fluorescence Imaging microscope (Room 4912, South Building).

Deep-Etch Electron Microscope (DEEM) Facility
Services provided: Quick-freezing
of biological samples and subsequent preparation of quick-frozen samples for
electron microscopy, by any of several techniques. The facility is located
in Room 4900 of the South Building.
